Avalanche Vessel #1

The glossy finish on this piece is mesmerizing in person — it catches the light in a way that makes the contours shift as you walk past. I’ve had it on my shelf for a week and catch myself staring at the smooth-to-rough texture transitions.

I was nervous about buying art online, but the organic contour feels even more substantial in person. The way the surface shifts from smooth to irregular gives it a unique, living quality that draws your eye.

The contrast between the smooth glossy sections and the rougher textured areas really makes this piece stand out on my shelf. It arrived securely packed and feels substantial without being heavy.
