I was blown away by how supple this 3½ oz cowhide feels right out of the box—the waxed finish gives it a subtle sheen that I know will only get better with time. It's a great way to check the leather quality before committing to a full project.

The full grain aniline dye gives this leather a rich, natural depth that standard samples just don't have. I'm already planning my pendant light project around how this will patina over time.

Aurora ★★★★★ Oct 19, 2026

I've been flexing this leather sample for days and the way it softens with each bend is mesmerizing. That waxed surface already shows slight color changes where I've handled it most, exactly what I hoped for.
