Brooney Aardewerk

I was pleasantly surprised by how well-preserved this vessel is given its vintage age—the organic surface texture adds a lot of character. It sits beautifully on my shelf and catches the light in a subtle way.

The little "T Brooney" signature on the base made me smile when I flipped it over. Form is simple and grounded, exactly the kind of quiet piece I wanted for my mantel, and the organic surface has real character. A few honest signs of age, but that's part of the charm.

The speckled glaze on this piece has so much texture that it catches the light differently depending on where it sits. Form is simple and perfectly weighted, and the signature on the bottom is a nice touch. The few small vintage marks are barely noticeable and honestly just add to its character.
