I was pleasantly surprised by how supple this leather sample is—it bends and folds easily in my hand. The light protective finish doesn’t make it feel plasticky at all, just smooth. For gauging the patina potential, it’s exactly what I needed.

The hand-antiqued finish gives it a subtle depth that photos don't fully capture, and the leather has a nice, soft feel despite being only about 1 mm thick.

This leather has a nice, subtle sheen from the protective finish without feeling plasticky. The 3 oz weight feels substantial for a sample, and I can already see how the aniline dye will develop character over time.
