田野景觀

The way Svend Engelund builds those broad planes of ochre and olive really gives the landscape a sense of depth—it's more structured than a typical pastoral scene, but still feels organic. The compoboard surface has just enough texture to catch the light without being distracting.

The oil on compoboard has a nice weight to it, and the layered ochre and olive tones really pop under natural light. It’s already become the focal point of my living room wall.

I hung it in my study and the earthy brown tones really anchor the room. The compoboard surface has a nice, subtle texture that works well with the oil paint. Only wish the frame was a bit sturdier for the price.
