The muted palette of browns and grays captures the Telemark hillside perfectly, and the rustic buildings feel both lonely and sturdy. I keep noticing new details in the brushwork each time I walk past it in my hallway.

The broad, expressive brushwork really captures the raw feel of those Telemark hillsides, and the muted palette pulls the whole scene together beautifully. It's been hanging in my living room for a week now, and I keep catching myself staring at the distant rocks and rooftops from the sofa.

The brushwork on the hillsides is what sold me — those broad, loose strokes give the whole thing a texture you don't get from a print. Hung it above our dining table and the muted greens and greys somehow make the room feel calmer. Shipping was quick and it arrived well protected too.
