Mikey The Cat by artist Robert T. Cooke features a cat rendered in layered grays and blues with a bold, forward-facing composition. Soft green eyes and a bright pink mouth provide contrast against the cooler tones, while the cat's paws extend outward, slightly turned inward, creating a sense of movement toward the viewer. Large pointed ears and an oversized face give the piece a strong presence.

Those green eyes really pop against the muted grays; the whole piece has a calm, almost hypnotic feel. The pink mouth adds just enough personality to keep it from being too serious.

The layered grays and blues give this print such a moody, painterly depth — it really anchors my wall. I love how the cat’s soft green eyes pull you in without being overly cutesy.

The pink mouth really pops against those cool grays and blues. I've got it hanging in my hallway and it makes me smile every time I walk by, the cat's forward stare is so captivating.
